Our Cub Pack meets every Wednesday evening from 5:30pm until 7:00pm at Newtown Jubilee Scout Hall during school term dates.
Whilst we already have a number of Assistant Cub Scout Leaders and Section Assistants to help run our weekly meetings and plan our termly programmes, we are still on the look out for an adult volunteer to be our new Cub Pack leader to take on the responsibility for the overall lead of our Cub Pack.
No previous experience of having been a youth member of the scouting movement or being an adult scouting volunteer previously is required as training, guidance and mentoring will be provided, and there is a host of information about programme planning available on the Scouts UK website. The only qualification you need is a desire to make a positive difference to the lives of young people in our community and a sense of humour.
Safety and Safeguarding of all of our youth members and adult volunteers is very important to us as a youth charity, so all of our adut volunteers need to succesfully pass a Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS) before becoming an adult volunteer working with young people.

If you are wondering how to volunteer to be part of our scouting volunteers team, you will find some useful information on the Scouts website about becoming an adult volunteer in Scouts
Please contact us if this is something that you would like to do to help our Cubs develop their #SkillsForLife
