Volunteering within your community is a great way to meet new people and make new friends, and is very rewarding.
At Newtown Robert Owen Scout Group, our friendly team of adult volunteers that run our Cub Pack and Scout Troop meetings on a Wednesday evening at our own Scout Hall are looking for help to grow our sections and deliver a fun and rewarding programme of scouting activities and challenges to benefit young people in and around Newtown.
To do this, we need additional adult volunteers to help with delivering and planning our programme.
As a member of our scouting team, full training and guidance will be provided, so no previous scouting experience is required. All you need is a willingness to try new things and to get involved.
Please get in touch if you or anybody you know can help to make a difference and inspire the young people who have fun and learn new skills for life at Newtown Scouts.
It would be fantastic if we could find enough new volunteers to be able to restart our Beaver Colony too.
